    On Highlights
Q: Β  What is the fee for the BA programme in Miranda House?
    A:

The total tuition fee for all BA and BA (Hons) courses is between INR 44,700 and INR 52,200. This fee is inclusive of all the BA Prog. and BA (Hons) specialisations offered by the college. Additionally, this fee is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Other than the tuition fee, students are also required to pay other fee components while applying to Miranda House, such as the hostel fee, (if applicable) and application charges. Also, students applying via CUET (Common University Entrance Test) also need to register for the exam and pay the exam application fee.

Q: Β  What is the eligibility criteria for B.A. at Miranda House?
    A:

At the undergraduate level, Miranda House offers three-year BA courses to students. The admission to undergraduate courses is based on merit and entrance examination scores. The accepted entrance examination is CUET. Hence, the candidates must appear for the CUET exam and with a valid score must apply for admission to the BA course offered at Miranda House.

Q: Β  Which is a better college for BA and BA (Hons) courses: Hindu College or Miranda House?
    A:

The following table mentions a comparison between both these top colleges of DU for their undergraduate courses in the field of Arts and Humanities:

    College Name

    BA Fee Range

    Median Salary (UG 3-year)

    Hindu College

    INR 52,680 - INR 52,770

    INR 6.4 LPA

    Miranda House

    INR 42,480 - INR 51,240

    INR 6 LPA

Based on the details mentioned in the above table, it can be concluded that both these colleges are equally good and candidates can go for any of the two options where they qualify for admission. However, there is a minute difference in between the course fee and salary that the BA/ BA (Hons) passouts get after completing this course. But the gap is too small to be considered in rating a college better than the other. Miranda7 Hindu College with other colleges here

    It's the No. 1 women's college in India, with a NIRF rank of 2. It's a tier 1 college.
Placements: We've 10 seats in my course. No idea of a package related to my course, but if someone does a PhD, then she/ he can be a professor, and that's a very good profession. Rather than the professor, you can go for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC CGL, bank, rail, SSC CHSL, etc.
Infrastructure: My hostel is really beautiful, and the food quality is good, better than the average hostel. There are a doctor's and a psychologist's chamber in my hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and I'm Bangali and my course is also Bengali, so I feel at home when I'm with my faculty. Also, there are a few students, and it is the smallest department in our college, so individuals get extra care from the teachers. There are 4 teachers for Bengal. 3 for the core paper and 1 for the AEC language course. As Bangla is available in our college, Bengali students can choose Bangla as AEC. Unlike the other DU colleges, it's not mandatory to choose Hindi as AEC for the Bangalis.
Other: My future goals are something else, so I chose literature for my graduation. Fest is really amazing. The tempest, and there are a lot of fests in our college.

Overall review moderate. Don’t come with a lot of expectations, guys, or you will be disappointed.
Placements: I am a fresher, and it has been just four months since I came to college, so I don't have much information about placements. But as I have heard from seniors, the level is good. I will try during my time here in college. I will definitely let others know later, as I don't think it is good to review something I don't know well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure overall is good both in college and Miranda’s Hostel. The library, DRC labs, medical facilities, and classrooms have very good infrastructure and facilities. The food in the canteen is good, but the same does not apply to hostel food (average – not too terrible and not too good). The Wi-Fi, like in most colleges and hostels, fluctuates a lot. Everything else in terms of infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but please don't expect teachers like in school here. Everything is very formal. The course curriculum is relevant according to me, but a little more practical and real-life things can be added. I haven't given any semester exam till now, but they are approaching in December. As much as I have heard, they are tiresome (don’t know about easy or hard) because you have to write 6–7 pages for a single answer, which can be challenging.
Other: I chose Political Science (H) because I find the subject very interesting. Miranda has one of the best Political Science departments in DU. The best thing is that you get to learn a lot, both academically and through the societies of the department. I think the thing that can be improved is the number of assignments given. It becomes hectic sometimes to manage classes (as we have to maintain a minimum attendance of 68%), societies, and personal preparation if we are preparing for any competitive exam. Seniors are like friends here, and one or another event keeps going on in college every day.

Miranda is the home away from home. It gives you the exposure you deserve.
Placements: Placements are not always course-wise. They are more based on experience and skills. You can join many societies, meet talented people who help you develop your skills and passion for different hobbies. There is place for every type of interest, a community for everyone.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and Campus is worth it's hype. The entire campus is all asthetic and pretty passing the correct women empowerment required. The hygiene to be maintained being a girls' college is top notch. The other aspects like the Auditorium and other space are cool and comfortable too.
Faculty: They really add value to the knowledge about your subject. The practical classes are really good, they try to teach you with real life methods rather than just making you copy. There are all types of facilities like lab and other materials required to the students for the course.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus, infrastructure, faculty members, and placements.
Placements: Placements at Miranda House College are good. The average package of 2024 to 2025 is around 9 LPA, and the highest package is around 24 LPA which indicates that students are provided with good placements here. Different companies from Barclays to KPMG visit every year and offer good packages. Placement cell also provides great internship opportunities. The highest stipend for an internship is 1.5 lakh. The college offers a wide range of roles from financial to marketing roles to roles in consulting. Placement is great for B.A. economics hons, mathematics, and computer science students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great at Miranda House. The classes have proper whiteboards and some have smart boards as well. Library provides a wide range of books for reading enthusiasts to gain lots of knowledge. The computer labs are air-conditioned with working computers. Talking about the hostel, it is good but it can be better as the food here is okay but can be improved. The security is very tight. Canteen has affordable food and clean area. The campus also has Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are really good. Professors have deep knowledge and understanding of their respective subjects. They are also very friendly. Teachers conduct frequent group discussions, which help students to understand things from different perspectives. We have research programs here in which the teachers help us a lot. The course curriculum at Miranda House is quite good. Most of the subjects are updated and match with what's happening in the real world. Teachers also try to connect the theory with practical examples, which makes it more relevant. The semester exams are moderately tough.
