AIIMS Delhi is a globally renowned medical institution, offering world-class education, experienced faculty, cutting-edge research opportunities, and extensive clinical exposure due to its diverse patient base. Its MBBS programme is highly affordable and holds immense value worldwide, making it an excellent choice for aspiring doctors. In comparison, East West Medical College & Hospital in Bangladesh provides a recognised MBBS degree under BMDC with decent clinical exposure, particularly for tropical diseases, but its global recognition and academic standards are not on par with AIIMS. While East West Medical College is more affordable than private Indian colleges, it is costlier than AIIMS and requires FMGE clearance for practice in India. AMSIMR, also known as Aruna Manharlal Shah Institute of Management and Research, is one of the constituent institutions of SGSJK. The faculty at AMSIMR is very diversified and quite experienced. For example, Dr. Iram Tanvir Shaikh, who is the In-charge Director, earned her doctorate and has more than 15 years of experience in research and marketing. Other faculty members such as Prof. Francis Lobo, with an academic experience of 25 years, having specialisation in Human Resource management, and Dr. Rama Goel, who brings in the important mix of academic and corporate knowledge into the institution, occupy very high pedestal in their area of forte. This combination of education and practical work moved the students' learning environment ahead many notches.
