If you have an OBC-NCL rank of 49603 and a Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 148954 in JEE, you may be able to secure admission to DTU (Delhi Technological University) or NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology) for CSE/IT. To more precisely check your possibilities, it is advisable to review the cutoff ranks for these branches at these universities, as admission requirements can change year. But DTU cutoff rank may be higher because of the popularity of the branches

NSUT B.Tech Biotechnology Chances with your OBC rank of 168675 (outside Delhi) might be challenging. The most reliable indicator would be last year's cutoff trends for the same program, category (OBC - outside Delhi), at NSUT. Look for official sources or credible websites. You can search online using terms like NSUT B.Tech Biotechnology OBC cutoff 2023 (outside Delhi). While your JEE Mains percentile of 88 is commendable, it might not be sufficient for this specific programme and category at NSUT.

Absolutely, you can get M.A. in Sociology at JNU or DSE. Also, you can get other courses easily. For JNU's B.A. (Hons.) Sociology, the cutoffs are also competitive. Your score of 251 out of 300 is strong and should make you a strong candidate for admission. DSE also usually has high cutoffs, but a score of 251 out of 300 is quite nice and may put you in a favorable position.

The minimum eligibility criteria for DTU admission is 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised board of education. However, final admission for BTech is based on the score in JEE Main Followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) and for MBA is it based on MAT exam.

There is no defense quota in NITs. That means, there is no defense quota in NIT Delhi also. But, there is a defense quota in some other engineering colleges, like Delhi Technological University (DTU). Admissions through defense quota depend on your priority category.
