To ensure fair access, Goa University strictly follows the state government's reservation guidelines for its BE admissions. The current seat distribution includes: 
27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
12% for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
10% for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the Un-Reserved Category.
2% for Scheduled Castes (SC).
These percentages apply to both local domicile and All India seats as per the Directorate of Higher Education. 

Aspirants need to appear for CDAC's CCAT (Computerized Common Admission Test) for PGCP-AC. Candidates are selected based on their scores in entrance test. Aspirants must also meet the eligibility criteria to get admission in this course.

The total course fees is INR 90,000 + GST for PGCP-AC at MET Institute of Information Technology Mumbai. Selected candidates have to pay the course fees to confirm their seat in the institute.

Goa University NEET Cutoff 2025 concluded with the release of the final round of cutoff list. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for multiple categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff was 23562. For the OBC AI category, the same round cutoff was 16989.

NIT Goa offers scholarship/ assistantship and House Rent Allowance as per Government of India norms from time to time to PhD full-time students. Below is the criteria for scholarship offered at the institute:

GATE scores obtained by candidate at some point of time in the respective discipline or any other eligible fellowships such as JRF/UGC/NET/CSIR/DST-INSPIREetc. in the respective disciplines or qualification in any other national level tests as specified by the norms of GoI from time to time.
