No, the application window for NID Bangalore MDes admissions 2025 is not open. The institute started accepting applications for admission to the current academic year (2025-26) in September. The application window remained open till December. The last date to apply for admission was Dec 6, 2025 (extended). Currently, the institute is conducting the seat allocation process for the MDes programme. The academic year is set to commence on June 30, 2025.

Yes, NID Bangalore offers a regular MDes programme. The PG-level course lasts two and a half years. It is offered in five specialisations. For each specialisation, the institute offers 19 seats. Students can choose to pursue MDes in one of the following specialisations:

  • Universal Design
  • Digital Game Design
  • Information Design
  • Interaction Design
  • Design for Retail Experience

Yes, GTU Ahmedabad does offer seat reservations for BPharm courses. The university reserves seats mainly for SC, ST, EWS candidates, etc. Check out the percentage of seats reserved for the course in the table below:

  • Economically Weaker Section: 10%
  • Scheduled Castes: 7%
  • Scheduled Tribes: 15%

No, there is no provision for direct admission to the MDes programme of NID Bangalore. The admission to the programme is purely based on the applicants' merit in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by NID. The test comprsies two stages: prelims and mains. Candidates shortlisted after the first stage qualify for the second stage. The final merit list is based on the applicants' performance in both the stages. Further, candidates seeking admission are required to satisfy the age and minimum qualification criteria.

The NID Bangalore MDes fee structure includes various components, such as tuition fees, hostel charges, insurance charges, etc. The tuition fee is the most major component in the fee structure. The MDes tuition fee at NID Bangalore is INR 11.43 lakh for the entire course duration. It is payable over five semestral instalments. GNLU Silvassa CLAT Cutoff 2026 has been released for admission to UG and PG-level law courses for all students who belong to the All India and Home State quota. For the BA LLB (Hons) course, the cutoff was 1210, as per the Round 1 closing ranks for the General AI category. In 2025, the cutoff for the same course was 1252, indicating that the competition has increased from 2025 to 2026 for aforementioned category. 

For the LLM course, the cutoff was 336 in 2026, whereas, in 2025 the cutoff was 918, drawing the same conclusion, ie., the competion for this course for the General AI category has increased.
