At Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, the number of seats for BTech courses varies. For BTech in Biotechnology, there are 72 seats according to the university's website. Shiksha.com states that there are a total of 1320 seats available for BTech courses at the university. Additionally, a specific BTech program in Agricultural Engineering started with 33 students admitted through the CATET Examination in 2019, as mentioned on the official website.

At Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, admission requirements depend on the course level. If you've scored 60% in Class 12, you can apply. To be eligible for admission, candidates need to take the Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (CATET) conducted by the state government of Uttar Pradesh. The specific subjects you need in Class XII are Agricultural Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), or combinations involving Mathematics. The university conducts counseling and seat allotment as part of the admission process.
