Hi, do some serious thinking first. You have already paid the fees for 1st year of engineering. The conditions of faculty and placements is like this only in many private engineering colleges. It may not be a good decision to change engineering college as you may face the same problem there also. Hence, I will advise you to continue. The placement situation is also same everywhere as so many software graduates like BE, BTech, BSc ( IT and CS ), MCA are passing out every year. So, focus on completing the engineering and try to maintain first class throughout. Do not argue with any faculty or placement cell as it may affect your internal marks, viva and project marks. Join coaching class for your engineering subjects. If you are still confused then approach a professional career counselor in your city. Later on you can apply for jobs in companies from outside also.

MBA is a degree offered by colleges recognised by University Grant Commission(UGC) and PGDM is a diploma offered by the institutes recognised by All India Council by Technical Education(AICTE).
UGC is made for maintenance of standards of university education whereas AICTE is for technical and management education in India.
PGPM is a Post Graduate Programme in Management which is according to the current trends of an industry. PGPM was basically introduced to develop the skills and abilities among students so that they can apply management theories and concepts to the day to day problems of business and industry.To sum up, IBS Gurgaon providing a degree of PGPM includes both the components of MBA and PGDM but it focuses more on imparting the practical knowledge among students. Lastly, not only IBS, but several other colleges like IIM, MDI etc. do provide PGPM degree.

I personally believe that in order to judge any college, you can do so by knowing 2 things- ROI and Placements.
The fees of this college is only Rs. 7 lakhs and the there is an average package of Rs. 5-6 lakhs. Although it depends upon the person to person how skilled he or she is.There are also international packages which do offers more than Rs 15 lakhs including CTC.
On the other hand if we talk about placements, there are many reputed companies which do come to IBS Gurgaon.
Big 4's, do come to Ibs gurgaon every year. Companies like Oyo rooms,Expedia,CB Richards,Exponential,Copal Amba,Proctivity,Thomas International along with many others do come to Ibs gurgaon.
So I would request you to decide any particular college on the basis of ROI and placements.
