The selection process for B.Tech at Northcap University is based on the JEE Main score. Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational Subjects. There is no fixed minimum score required in Class 12 for JEE Main, but candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by NTA. As per the JEE Main eligibility criteria, students can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years.

The eligibility criteria for MBA at Northcap University require the applicant to have obtained an aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA in their Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised institution. Freshers and candidates with less than 3 years of work experience as of 30th June of any academic year are only eligible. Applicants may submit multiple examination scores; NCU will consider the best score provided by an applicant while shortlisting applications. The candidate's performance in CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/NMAT is considered for admission.
