In 1987, DCRUST was founded as the Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, Murthal. Later, in 2006, it was elevated to the status of university and given the new name Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology. It is a state university that is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and connected to the Haryana State Government. As measures of the caliber of instruction and facilities, the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) have accredited the university.

After finishing the application process, the Admission Committee shortlisted the candidates who meet the eligibility requirements. Admission to the BA programme is determined by the candidate's GD Goenka Test score. The Admission Committee verifies the required documents during the application process. Candidates can refer to the list as provided below:

• Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
• Passport-size photographs
• Bachelor's degree certificate
• Identity proof
• Caste certificate

 Candidates have to pay INR 1000 for the BA course application at GD Goenka University. Post selection, students are notified via their registered email ID for admission confirmation. The total tuition fee for this course ranges between INR 6.4 lakh - INR 22 lakh.

The application is closed now. Students are selected based on in-house entrance exam scores and merit. It is a full-time four-year course at the UG level. Aspirants must complete Class 12 as the basic educational qualification. 

Candidates can get admission in the BA course at GD Goenka University based on the merit of Class 12 and their scores in the GD Goenka Admission Test. They must achieve a valid aggregate in the same for admission in the course.
