Osmania University college for Women was the British Residency for James Achilles Kirkpatrick from 1798 to 1805. It is sometimes referred to as Hyderabad Residency or Koti Residency. Durbar Hall, a historic structure constructed by the British, is also a part of it. This college has been upgraded to become Telangana State's First Women University and changed its name to "Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalayam" in the year 2022. To be eligible for B.Sc. programs at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Successful completion of 10+2 with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English as mandatory subjects.
