No, the BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women is not a government University. But it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and even by the Government of Telangana State. The institute is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. The BVRIT College although new and practiced in uniqueness, it has become the first choice of engineering students, searching for affiliated colleges under the JNTUH. The College has become the reason for students to elevate their talents more than academics.

BVRIT Hyderabad College was the earliest college that was under Sri Vishnu Educational Society. It was established in 2012. The intention to establish the college was to enable the women pursuing engineering to be successful at great heights. It has already achieved a lot in placements, academics, and technical competitions. It has 10 years of academic excellence, currently has 6 programmes, and has 124 faculty members and the exciting thing is 1024 students received a placement.
