The year-wise fee for PhD is INR 60,000. Additionally, the deemed university provides financial assistance towards the tuition fees and stipend to all research students (PhD) of good standing. Normally, full financial assistance requires the student to put in 20 hours of work per week. Financial assistance is provided to all the students during the first semester, but it is continued based on good academic performance. Additionally, the institute also offers a monthly stipend ranging from INR 31,000 and INR 35,000 to the PhD students.

Admission to dual degree programmes at IIIT Hyderabad is done basis UGEE/ DASA/ Olympiad (KVPY)/ Class 12 board exams followed by a personal interview. Additionally, LEEE exam is also accepted for lateral entry admissions into the course. Interested students can apply online on the official website. Along with and before appearing for these exams, students must meet with the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute for admission to the dual degree courses, which is to pass Class 12 with PCM stream. Of all the functions, the highest percentage of offers were made in Technology (31%). The second in the sequence was the Consulting/ Strategy function with 20% of offers made. See the below snip elaborating on the function-wise distribution of ISB Hyderabad placements 2023:

The top three industries in which the highest number of offers were made during ISB Hyderabad placements 2025 include Consulting, Technology and BFSI. The other domaina are Operations, Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.

The ISB placement process takes place for four months. The session commences with pre placement talks by the recruiters to the student body. Students then have to submit their responses through an 'expression of interest (EOI)'. Thereafter, recruiters shortlist the candidates and send them to the Career Advancement Services team, who get in touch with the students. After this, on campus and off campus interviews are conducted. The placement process is conducted within a 10 day window. The final interview and process continue for several months.
