No, the Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur does not offer any direct admission to its PGDM courses. However, XLRI does have a few seats under the management quota for which it offers direct admission. The direct admission process is competitive and difficult because of the limited number of seats available. The fees for direct admission are usually higher than the original fees. To be eligible for direct admission under the management quota:

  • Candidate must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks from an authorised institute or university.
  • Candidate must have a good score on the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT).

To get admission into XLRI (Xavier School of Management), your performance in the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is crucial, as academic scores have lesser weightage. With 90% in 10th, 73% in 12th, and 75% in B.Tech, aim for a 98+ percentile in XAT for competitive programs like BM or HRM. XLRI emphasizes the overall profile, so strong XAT scores, work experience (if any), and performance in the GD-PI round can significantly enhance your chances of selection.
