The nearest airports to Jamshedpur are Kolkata and Ranchi. The Journey will take approximately 3.5 hours to 4 hours to reach Jamshedpur from Kolkata by train and 2.5 hours to 3 hours from Ranchi by road.XLRI Campus is about 7 kms from the Tatanagar Railway Station and can safely be reached by auto - rickshaws or taxis round-the-clock at a reasonable charge of INR 120 and INR 200 respectively (approximate rates). XLRI is located near the Jubliee Park in the Circuit House Area (East). The campus has two gates - one opens to the Marine Drive and the other to CH Area. XLRI campus can be approached from either of the gates.

Candidates can refer to the table below to know the basic eligibility criteria for all the courses at NIT Jamshedpur: Courses Eligibility Criteria BE / BTech Eligibility: Class 12 with a minimum 75% aggregate. ME/ M.Tech Eligibility: BE/BTech in relevant subject with a minimum 60% aggregate. MCAEligibility: Graduation with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent. CGPAM Sc Eligibility: BSc with a minimum aggregate of 60%. PhD Eligibility: Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60%.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR is also good but VIOBA BHAVE UNIVERSITY is also one the best Universities. So it will good to take admission in Vinoba Bhave University. However, according to Vinoba Bhave University Engineering NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during Vinoba Bhave University BTech placements 2022 stood at INR 4 LPA. Further, the placement rate recorded during Vinoba Bhave University BTech placements 2022 was 44%. In addition, according to unofficial sources, the top recruiters during Vinoba Bhave University placements in recent past included TCS, ICICI Bank and Accenture.

No NIT Jamshedpur is expensive  but NIT is a Central University so it offers several fee waiver  and scholarship schemes so on should not worry about fees and you should choose the best suited option and choose according  to your course fees is not matter of concern as Vinoba Bhave University is a State University so you should ficus on your studies  fees is not matter of concern.

Both Universities have ample of opportunities  waiting for students and both colleges  succeed  in different field but in my opinion  NIT Jamshedpur is one of best University so you should go but you should also consider various  factors which can vary person to person then choose right college for pursuing Btech  .
