According to AICTE rule, 75% attendance is necessary but in our College different departments have different criteria for attendance, don't worry you won't have to face very strict attendance rule in CSE department.

You will have to get a rank within 15 in department, for that 35 marks are quite enough. Score 35 in JELET and get admission in KGEC.

Please mention your branch. It seems possible for you to get chance in JGEC. You might get a chance in KGEC. Please tell me your branch for confirmation.

Sorry, but you will have to tell about your branch rank to know whether you are eligible for govt college or not.

There is around 12-15 seats in CSE in KGEC, seat depends on the number of dropout students in first year, so large number of dropouts means more seats in JELET and vice versa.

There is very chance for KGEC with this rank, but you can try your luck on other government colleges in West Bengal.

If your branch rank is 50-60, then you may get a govt college but I think at 1072 GMR your branch should be above 100. So, there is less chance of getting a govt college for mechanical.

Sorry to say that but you there is no chance to get CSE at kgec with this rank, you can try for newly opened govt colleges or other prestigious private colleges.
