Below are the eligibility criteria for:

B.E. / B.TechCandidates passed Diploma are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.
MBA/PGDMCandidate with Master's degree in fields such as Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/Technology, or an equivalent discipline, are also eligible.
M.E./M.TechCandidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate with the mentioned marks (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)
MCACandidate with Master's degree in fields such as Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/Technology, or an equivalent discipline, are also eligible.

Yes you can get admission to the Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT) without a standard entrance exam through the management quota or NRI quota. While 100% of seats are generally filled via KCET or COMEDK a portion is reserved for direct admission based on percentage in Class 12 for UG and management criteria.

For MBA/PGDM course Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam will be held on May 14 2026. Students are advised to check website on regular basis to check dates for the exams, admissions & other important events.
