Candidates must have a degree in a relevant field at the Bachelor's level namely B.Sc. in Nursing, Psychology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines from a recognised university. A minimum of 50% marks is required (45% for SC/ST candidates). The final selection is based on performance in the written test and interview conducted by NIMHANS. The programme-wise details are to be checked on the official website.
