There are no free courses available at SDMIMD. Hence, students will have to pay the admission as well as the application fee. At the PG level, SDMIMD offers a two-year full-time residential PGDM course to students. The college also provides PhD programmes to students. Other programmes offered by the college include Management Development Programmes, FDP, etc. There are 5 international faculty members teaching PGDM course modules. The college provides various add-on certifications. 

Admissions to the SDMIMD are not hard for hardworking students. Students must prepare well for the entrance exams. The accepted entrance exams are MAT,  XAT,  CAT,  CMAT, ATMA, and others. To prepare well, students must follow the entrance exam books and practice as much as possible. 

PACE placements reports state that around 126 of the students of the batch were placed in top companies like Infosys, Iinkdot, QSpiders, Capegemini, etc. for the last batch. The average salary provided to the students was around INR 2.98 lacs per annum. The highest package was around INR 50 to 51 Lacs per annum offered to the students of PACE.

SDMIMD is a good college. Located in Mysore, this reputed college is a member of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). SDM IMD offers PG and PhD courses to students. These courses are provided across the Management and various other streams. SDMIMD is ranked 51st by Business Today 2023 for MBA,  37th by Times 2023 under the Management Institutes category,  and 25th by Times 2023 under the University (Private) category. 

SDMIMD has a big campus with multiple facilities available in the campus. SDMIMD Campus has won several landscape and architectural awards. SDMIMD Library has a collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include databases, books, journals, AVs, CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, course materials, reports, case studies, and others. SDMIMD has a large and acoustically-sound auditorium. The campus life is quite enjoyable as compared with other universities. 

With the rank of 168,317 in the entrance exam it could be tough to get into an Electronics and Communication (EC) branch at top engineering colleges in Bangalore. However, there should be still be good opportunities at emerging or mid tier institutions. Schools like Acharya Institute of Technology, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (through quota) or RajaRajeswari College of Engineering could be good choices. The chances of admission depends on the cutoff score for that year, your category, and the number of available seats.
