The admission process for the B.Sc at  IISER Kolkata is based in the entrance exam . To get seat in the IISER Kolkata or any IISER institutes one should write any one of these entrance exams like  IAT, SCB, KVPY, JEE advanced. Unfortunately, you cannot get admission to B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) without any entrance exam. UVCE is a prestigious government college and admission for B.E. programs is strictly based on entrance exam scores.

• Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET): This is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to various undergraduate engineering programs in colleges affiliated with Bangalore University, including UVCE.

The Bangalore University MCA placement data has not been disclosed. However, the NIRF report 2024 incorporates the overall data for PG (2-year) courses. Yes, the University has a placement cell that conducts various activities for the successful placement of the students. The official data for the recent placements is not out yet. However, the NIRF report 2024 has been released, according to which 317 UG (4-year), 52 UG (5-year), and 1,429 PG (2-year) students were placed during the 2023 drive. Further, the median package offered to UG (4-year) and UG (5-year) students was INR 6.50 LPA and INR 7.45 LPA. For PG (2-year) courses, the median package stood at INR 2.50 LPA.
