Bihar Institute of Technology was the previous name of BIT Sindri. It is a well-known technical college in Jharkhand. It was started back in 1949. Engineering-related UG and PG programmes, including BTech and M.Tech, are offered by BIT. Additionally, a Ph.D. is an option. Mechanical and Electrical Engineering is the best branch at BIT Sindri because BIT is well-known for its main engineering streams. ISBR Bangalore cutoffs has been released for admission to MBA programmes based on CAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ Karnataka PGCET scores. Candidates who meet the cutoff are considered for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interaction (PI) round of MBA admission. For admission year 2026 the flagship EPGP course had its application window close on December 01, 2025. For PGPEM, however, the applications for R-1 was held between July 21, 2025 and October 8, 2025 while the closure of R-2 applications will take place on January 20, 2026.
