To take Admission in JSS University Candidates have to clear the PGCET/Gate entrance exam The minimum eligibility to give the entrance test is candidate must graduated from a relevant course with 50% of marks from a recognised university or college with Science and maths as a compulsory subject. The students can go for direct admission with fee structure details as the college provides under graduate courses, research programs and post graduate courses. Management and nri quota admissions are also possible

The university offers numerous scholarships to the students, namely merit-based, means-based, need-based scholarships and financial assistantships along with AICTE PG Scholarship. Presidency University Bangalore has not released the 2023 placement details yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out. As per the report, 116 UG (3-year), 1,429 UG (4-year), 7 UG (5-year), 14 PG (1-year) and 480 PG (2-year) students were placed during Presidency University Bangalore placements 2022. The median package offered during Presidency University Bangalore placements was INR 3.82 LPA for UG (3-year) students, INR 4 LPA for UG (4-year) students, INR 2.50 LPA for UG (5-year) students, INR 3 LPA for PG (1-year) students and INR 5.16 LPA for PG (2-year) students.
