Yes, IIMB extends financial aid to students in need of assistance. The objective of the Financial Aid Policy at IIMB is to ensure that no student is deprived of education at the institute for financial reasons. All PGP students with annual family incomes below INR 8 LPA are eligible to apply for financial aid. Other students with severe financial difficulties arising from sudden unforeseen circumstances are also considered. The Financial Aid Committee undertakes a two-step process for deciding the number of awardees and the quantum of aid. In the first stage, the students are given a financial status score based on four criteria: Annual Gross Household Income (including income of the student if employed before joining IIMB and outstanding loans if any, provided they were not taken for conspicuous consumption), household savings, real estate assets, and other assets. Based on this score, some of the students were called for personal interaction with a faculty panel. Based on the weighted average of these two scores, applicants are provided with 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, or 20% financial aid.

Yes, NSB Academy has a placement cell known as the Corporate Relation Cell that oversees and manages placement activities. The placement cell at NSB Academy provides pre-placement training and career coaching to students, including seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. The cell helps students develop communication, presentation, and project management skills and invites companies to the campus to hire students. The placement process at NSB Academy begins from the first semester and continues till the end of the respective courses.

Seat Reservation is as follows: Scheduled Caste- 15 percent, Scheduled Tribe- 6 percent, Backward Classes  A-7 percent, Backward Classes B - 10 Percent, Backward Classes C- 1 percent, Backward Classes D- 7 percent, Backward Classes E- 4 percent, Women Candidates- 33.3 percent and Physically Challenged is 5 percent.  Amongst Open category, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Classes Group A, B, C, D and E 33 1/3% of seats are guaranteed for women candidates in each category . When the number of women candidates falls short of this percentage, the shortfall will be compensated by selecting the male candidates in that particular category.
