B.Com Hons. means you're specializing in a particular area, say Accounting & Finance or Marketing or Taxation, etc.
B.Com Accounting & Finance is one of the core areas to be taken as a specialization for undergraduates.

Placements cell of Acharya is working quite nicely and the results are for anybody to see. However, aeronautical engineering branch is a bother. But India is progressing well and it is hoped that four years down the line things would improve tremendously. Present packages are upwards of Rs. 6 LPA.

If you are talking about first semester courses, then it is somewhere around August 2nd week. It varies from August first to second week. Classes start after all the orientation is completed.
