Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT) is a better choice than MVJ College of Engineering in case of both educational quality and placements.
But instead of opting for Aeronautical Engineering, I would suggest you go for CSE from AIT Bangalore.
AIT is ranked 63rd in Indian Engineering college Ranking of "Outlook India". On the other hand, MVJCE stands nowhere in top 100.
AIT Bangalore has huge campus of 120 acres whereas MVJCE has a campus of just 15 acres.
AIT maintains a teacher-student ratio of 1:10. The Institute receives a "Modernisation and Removal of Obsolescence" grant from the AICTE for research activities and upgraded state-of-

It does not matters lot as many college built their campus in remote area because they can't get such a big size of land is not available in city. This does not matters a lot as BITS Pilani is one of the best college of India and this college is located in Pilani which is an small village of Rajasthan but for joining BITS student never think about remote or urban city. In fact, establishing a college in remote size has lot of benefit such as there is less disturbances, less crowd, nice environment which is not available in urban city.
There is no better location for communing with nature than a rural college campus. From flowery meadows

Hi Hari,
The rules for changing the college vary according to university rules from time to time. So, we would suggest you to inquire from the concerned colleges and its authorities.
Generally, the procedure for college to college transfer is: apply to the Registrar in the prescribed manner for permission for such transfer prior to making the desired transfer with valid reasons for the transfer proposed. An application for a transfer shall be accompanied by
(I) Written consent of the Principal of the College in which the student is studying;
(ii) The written promise of admission from the Principal of the College which he proposes to join

Frankly speaking, there are no such placements in aeronautical engineering at MIT Manipal. Instead, students opting for this branch go either for further studies or get a job in IT companies which might be irritating if you love aeronautical engineering. Though teachers, staff, students all are good, even students have projects like AeroMIT, Swapaksh which have won several prizes in different competitions but rarely students get placed in core companies.
This is just because in aeronautical engineering companies need a very skilled employee. So placement in this field is generally for post graduate students.
Thanks and regards.

Companies like Hero, Tata, Mercedes, Toyota come for recruiting students of Automobile engineering.
50% of the students opting for automobile engineering go for further studies. Some students with higher gpa and other good records get placed in core companies. Many get placed in IT companies. Even many of the bright students get placed in IT. There could many reasons :
There are many many companies recruiting from MIT Manipal but the problem is what to choose, core company or IT company?
First of all take this very seriously, the life of an engineer at a production company is tough. I do not mean to scare you, but it is true, unfortunatel

It was established in 1969 and is one of the oldest engineering branches in Manipal and has its reputation.
I can say that faculty is not 100% best, not more than 4 to 5 professors are good with their subjects. Professors are really good and are ready to help you. The course structure is pretty good and equivalent to BITS (HOD used to be from BITS).
Excellent chemical engineering laboratories - Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer and a State of the art Process Control lab. The computer lab equipped with all the engineering software - CAD, Aspen, Matlab.
Practice School Policy. Students can do their final year projects outside the institutio
