With 39% in PCM, it might be tough to get B.Tech CSE at Jain University even through management quota, as the minimum required is 45%. You can still check directly with the college—they sometimes allow exceptions or may suggest other options.

The UPSC Prelims consists of two papers: General Studies Paper-I (current affairs, history, geography, polity, economy, environment, and science) and CSAT Paper-II (comprehension, reasoning, and basic numeracy).
Paper-I is used for merit ranking, while Paper-II is qualifying with 33% as the minimum score.
Both papers are objective-type with negative marking and are conducted on the same day.

NIT Surathkal grants admission to two MSc courses based on candidates' performance in the IIT JAM entrance exam, followed by the CCMN counselling process. For 2025 admission, the Round 1 closing ranks varied between 868 and 920 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Of all the MSc specialisations, the one with the lowest cutoff rank of 868 was the MSc in Chemistry.
