Admission to the Sai Vidya Institute of Technology can be moderately competitive. The college offers only BTech, MBA, and MTech courses. Admission to all these courses are done based on the scores obtained in entrance exams such as the COMEDK UGET exam for BTech and GATE for MTech. To be eligible for these exams, the candidates need to have a minimum of 45% marks in previous qualificaton in a relevant stream.

BTech:- Admission to the BTech course at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the KCET or the COMEDK UGET exam. Applications for both exams are closed now.

MTech:- Admission to the MTech course at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the GATE or the Karnataka PGCET exam. Applications for both exams are closed now.

Hostel food at Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, Bangalore, is rated average by students with a score of 3.5/5. The food served consists of South and North Indian dishes, with some varieties of non-veg being offered. Hygiene can be described as average, with scope for variety.

Mess feeds 200+ students, whose fees are included in the hostel fees (around INR 80,000/year). It is decent compared to RV College.

The cell works by getting recruits from companies like TCS, Infosys, and Accenture for the IT and engineering domains. It also provides training and internship opportunities to 540 students in total. Students rate it 4/5 on placement, although top MNCs do not come in high numbers.

BTech is the best choice at Sai Vidya Institute of Technology for many reasons. These courses are affiliated with VTU. The highest package offered till now for BTech students is INR 10 LPA. Some top recruiting companies include Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, IBM, etc. The course curriculum is industry aligned.

To be eligible for admission to the BE/BTech course at Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for either the COMEDK UGET or the KCET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

The CAT cutoff is not clearly stated for Sindhi Institute of Management (SIM), Bangalore's MBA program.  But in previous years, the general cutoff ranks for the MBA programme have been as follows:
