The college has good placement facilities. More than 60 percent of students were placed in college, with the highest salary package of INR 9.5 LPA and the lowest salary package of INR 2.5 LPA. A few students got internships with a package of INR 2.3 LPA. Top roles offered are data analyst, software developer, web developer, frontend developer, etc.

The KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) cutoff ranks for Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology (DrTTIT) vary depending on the course and year. For the general-all India category, in 2022, the cutoff for B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering was 110460, and for B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, it was 99008. In 2024, these cutoffs increased to 163098 and 137092 respectively. Shiksha provides specific cutoff ranks for various courses and years. 

For B.E. in Civil Engineering, the KCET cutoff for the general-all India category in 2021 was 153477, and in 2022 it was 171627, according to Shiksha.
