Candidates who are students of such undergraduate programs at IIT Kharagpur can also apply for admissions if they scored a CGPA of 8.0 as there aggregate. No, BTech admissions at IIT Kharagpur accept the scores of the JEE Mains entrance exam to decide a candidate's admission. The exam is followed by the JoSAA counseling to finalise the admission of a candidate. The WBJEE entrance exam is not accepted for any admissions into the IIT Kharagpur courses.

No, admissions into IIT Kharagpur without the JEE entrance exam is not possible if the candidate wishes to take admission in the BTech course. For other course admissions, IIT Karagpur accepts other entrance exam scores. However, only candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the BTech course on top of scoring a valid JEE score will be granted admissions into the IIT Kharagpur BTech course.
