Hi,
It depends on your interest and convenience that in which college you are more comfortable with respect to location and your financial strengths. Although, you can prefer CV Raman Mechanical in place of IEM Kolkata, because placement scenario in IEM Mechanical is extremely bad. And, this is a new branch in IEM. No core companies visit the campus for recruitment. But, you will get lots of opportunities in C V Raman. Best of luck.

MBA at IEM Kolkata is okay type. You can expect average package of 3-5lpa in IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini etc. These companies visit the campus for recruitment. If you don't have any other options available and you are financially good, then only take admission in this college. Because, even after completing your MBA, you may end up without getting any job. Best of luck.

Hi,It totally depends on your interest that in which college you are more comfortable and interested. Both the colleges are good, still you can prefer CUSAT due to more opportunities at the time of placement. Only low paying IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys visit IEM Kolkata, while you might get more opportunities at CUSAT. Best of luck.

Hi Rinkesh,
Yes, you can get admission with 50% marks in your board, but you need to go for management quota admission. For management quota admission, you need to visit the campus and they will guide you for the same.
Best of luck.

Before deciding on the colleges - Please understand their functioning and difference TICT (New Town) : Forget the placements, TICT Rajarhat hardly sees any companies visiting the campus. Students are taken to TIU to sit for campusing. Now the main thing. Techno India Group gives priority to TIU and not TICT. And wait! Techno India Rajarhat is not even sure about its name. Better join Techno India University, it is the Corporate Headquarter of Techno India Group. UEM (Kolkata) : UEM is very strict in terms of DISCIPLINE. UEM is very strong in CSE department and also in MECHANICAL engineering. All the teachers of CSE and ME are exc
