Dear Student, St. Xavier is the famous college for B.Com (Hons.). ICA is not a college for B.Com. Some branches from ICA, may offer coaching for admissions in to B.Com course. You can also do various courses like IDA and IDA + from ICA after B.Com to update your knowledge and skills in accounting software, income tax, investment portfolio management and accounts.
I had done IDA+ from ICA and also, you may get placed in different companies after completion of this course.
St.Xaviers college commerce department is very famous with the experienced and highly educated faculty, especially if you want to do B.Com in honors, then it should be the college that you are looking for.
There are couple of criteria, which you need to meet to get into admission for B.Com (hons.) in Xavier, Kolkata.
You should pass with at least 60% of aggregate marks in your secondary higher education (plus two) and in subjects like Maths and English, you should at least get 45 % and in other subjects minimum 40%.
Mathematics in plus two will be the background for all of the students who joined. But, the standards of mathematics and statastics are not that much high, considering all kinds of students getting admission into course. But, if your basics are good, then you can go for it. All the best.

The cohort at IIMs and NUS is very different in terms of diversity and experience. IIMs have almost half of their cohorts fresh out of college whereas NUS has most of the participants who have reasonable work experience. Singapore being a finance hub attracts an extraordinary exposure in term of learning which IIMs and most top B-Schools in India cannot. Also, the median CTC that is offered at NUS is way higher than that at IIMs. If we see the course fee, the MBA from NUS costs around 40-50L INR whereas the fee for the full-time MBA from IIM A, B and C costs between Rs 17 to Rs 22 lakhs. The student pedigree at IIMs A/B/C and NUS is equally impressive. CAT percentile of 99 and above and GMAT scores of 720 and above ensure only the top minds enter.
The global MBA experience, in my opinion, is what makes NUS slightly better but if someone wants to pursue MBA without much experience, IIMs are an excellent option.

St. Xavier's Kolkata is best known for its Commerce Department especially B.Com (Hons). The level of Maths and Statistics that is taught is not too high. It is taught considering all types of Students (good or average at Maths). The faculty is experienced and you can easily understand whatever is taught in class.
First year Maths and Stats can be a cakewalk for you, if you're quite good at basics of it. From second year, the level rises and you'll be required to learn new things. On an overall level, I can say, it is better than what is taught in other Commerce colleges. (Since, all the students are from Maths background).

The opportunity for students in this campus is very vast. Techno India University is an average college which offers better education. The quality of education is good.

ADB, AMERICAN EXPRESS, TVS, WIPRO, CISCO, L&T, FLIPKART, AMAZON, SONY, L&G, DEOLITE, INFOSYS, KPMG, EMC2, UBER, BRITANNIA, BRIDGESTONE, MRF, THOMSON AND RETURE, etc.
The average package is 4.5 LPA. This year highest package went as high as 16 LPA by Microsoft, then 14 LPA by Accenture, also to few students 10-12 LPA, then at 9 LPA, 13 students were placed at Microsoft, Deloitte and few startup companies offered 6-7 LPA packages and then comes the major recruiter TCS, which offered an average of 3.6 LPA package to hundreds of students.
This campus has a good placement cell with international Tie-ups. So I suggest you to go with this campus.
