As a passout student of Techno India University I can pretty much say that you should do this in the first year to learn and enjoy in the university together. First of all do not fear the seniors they will try to dominate you and do not enter in the politics it's pretty harsh in the university because I saw some of my friends did doing that and didn't even pass they got backlogs. There's Class assessment exams every month. Four of them occurs throughout the semester and two practical assessments. One of the class assessment marks is added to the semester marks. The average score of both the semester, i.e. , the SGPA is the CGPA of a student every year.

If a student fails internal exams in Future Institute of Engineering and Management anyhow, their parents are called to discuss about it. Attendance is really strict, too. You need to be attentive in order to not fail in internals. Even if you do, you can overcome next time.

This is difficult to answer but in particular department there's more strength than others. Like, CSE department have a strength of approximately 150 every year, so as ECE and IT. Comparatively, EE, ME and Civil engineering have less strength. So, about 400 is the approximate strength of student of each batch.
