If a student fails in the internal examination, he/she have to appear in the next internal examination for improving their score because there is no provisions of re-test for the examination. If you fail then you can do nothing about it. If you fail in the semester examination you will have the backlog.

Well if someone misses its Internal Exam in the college, he/she has to submit an application with a proper reason for missing the exam. There is no provision for retest in the case of Internal Examination, the student will have another chance in the next internal examination to improve his/her score. As there are two internal test in every semester the students, the score is chosen in best of 2 format. It might not be a problem if missed the exam for  valid reason. Also 75% attendance is strictly mandatory for appearing in all kinds of exams.

St. Xavier's-Kolkata has been accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Both colleges have the best infrastructures and offer great guidance to the students. Ultimately, the decision depends on the students, which is the best college or university for them.
