Yes, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University follows a seat reservation policy per government norms.
- 50% of seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates.
- 10% of seats are reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates.
The remaining seats are allocated to General category and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates. In addition, PwD (Persons with Disabilities) students are eligible for a horizontal reservation within their respective categories.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. King George's Medical University offers various courses in the field of Medicine. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in NEET UG, NEET SS, or NEET PG for admission, depending on the course. Admission to BSc and UG Diploma courses does not require the NEET exam.

In Lucknow, several institutions offer M.Pharm programs that are not affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Here are some of these colleges:
