The college has not released separate placement data for the MBA. As per the overall statistics, a total of 944 students have been selected as of now during 2023 placements. However, the statistics might change as the 2023 drive is still ongoing. Further, the highest package recorded to date is INR 19 LPA and is offered by Lowe's Services India Pvt. Ltd. So far, 115 companies have visited the campus and Cognizant selected the highest number of students.

Babu Banarasi Das University selects students for graduation and post-graduation on the basis of their merit scores from various entrance tests. Each programme has separate eligibility criteria.

For M.E/M.Tech you must have secured 55% aggregate in your graduation. It also accepts GATE.

For an MBA you must have a 50% or equivalent CGPA in any Discipline course from a recognised university and you must have appeared for any one management entrance test like CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, or XAT.
