While government colleges like SPPU have a massive reputation that attracts legacy recruiters, MIT SOES often provides more personalized placement support and grooming sessions. However, because MIT is private, you might find more "niche" tech companies visiting, whereas government colleges rely on their long-standing brand name to pull in the big giants.

IBS Mumbai CAT cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the PGPM course for various All India categories. The cutoff was published in the form of percentiles. 

For the General AI category, the overall percentile was 70 and 40 sectional for  to the PGPM programme. Students who attain these percentiles are eligible to move to the next round of admissions, which involves GD, PI or WAT.

The SICSR Pune accepts the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for the BCA programme. This exam is generally considered tough. The SET is a common test conducted by SIU. The SIU is a top-ranked university, so the competition level of the SET exam is very high. The syllabus of the set focuses on logical reasoning, analytical ability, general English, and basic computer knowledge.

The SICSR Pune has a 100% placement rate. 50+ companies visit every year the campus of the institute and recruit the eligible students. Some top recruiting companies of the institute are Deloitte, Accenture, EY, PwC, Morgan Stanley, and more. The highest package offered during 2025 UG placement was 23.05 LPA.

The SICSR Pune BCA programme commencement starts after completing the admission process. The admission process starts in July and ends in the first week of July. As per the official website, the programme commencement of BCA starts from 15 July. Students must apply for the course before the deadline.

The SICSR Pune BBA fees are made up of different components. Some of them are refundable while some are not. The application fees of the course are not recoverable. The course fee is refundable only if the cancellation is requested before the last date of admission. If any candidate cancels his/her admission after the deadline, a deduction of INR 1000 is made from the fees, and the rest is refunded. The fees become non-recoverable if the admission is cancelled after the programme commencement.
