Mumbai University Institute of Distance and open Learning -MU IDOL admissions- the candidate needs to attempt and quality the Mumbai University IDOL MCA Entrance Test. Rest all courses admission are done directly on the merit basis

IIT Bombay does not offer complete free education. However, students can apply for scholarships to recieve a free education at IIT Bombay. Candidates can refer to the table below to know about the various scholarships:

Institute merit-cum-means | Academic merit, as well as means, will be taken into account to determine eligibility |
Named scholarships | Office of the Dean Alumni & Corporate Relations manages the Named scholarship endowed by the alumni of IIT Bombay and other well-wishers |
Remission of fees | The students whose gross income of parents for the previous financial year is not more than INR 5 LPA are eligible to apply for Remission of fees |
Free messing (SC/ ST) - MSc | All SC/ ST students are exempted from the payment of tuition fees |
Named scholarships - MSc | Office of the Dean Alumni & Corporate Relations manages the named scholarship endowed by the alumni of the IIT Bombay and other well-wishers |
Institute merit-cum-means - MSc | The scholarship is given to students with income up to INR 1 Lacs - 5 Lacs per annum |
