Grant Medical College is a government University while Smt. B.K. Shah Medical Institute and Research Centre is a Private College. The GMC College offers a total of 55 courses while B.K. Shah offers 50 courses. Both the Colleges are good choices for MBBS but the Placement rate of GMC is high as compared to B.K. Shah as the Placement rate of GMC is 88% while that of B.K. Shah is 86%. The average salary offered by GMC is 6.6 LPA while the average salary offered by B.K. Shah is 6.2 LPA but, the Infrastructure facilities and number of seats are more in B.K. Shah.

SPJIMR’s GMP application forms are currently open for January 2021 intake which has three Partner school in US and one Partner School in Europe. These forms need to be submitted via the links provided in the application portal of the institute. The form is quite detailed and will take some time to complete. A set of documents has to be submitted during the SOL DU admission. An application is treated as incomplete if the required documents are not attached to it. Further, the documents required during the process are:
- Duly filled application form
- Bank draft of the admission confirmation fee
- Two recent passport-size photographs (one for the application and another for the identity card)
- Self-attested photocopy of Class 10 and 12 passing certificates
- Transfer Certificate in original
- Self-attested photocopy of Reserve Category Certificate of the candidate (If any)
- Original Income Certificate (BPL Ration Card)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)

DU SOL admission to the MCom course is both merit and entrance based. Candidates who are already a part of Delhi University are eligible to get admission directly on the basis of their performance in the last qualifying examination. For students outside DU, admission will be done on the basis of valid scores in the entrance test and personal interview, conducted by the institute.
