The admission process of Grant Government Medical College, Mumbai is completely online for all its under graduate and post graduate courses. For applications, candidates need to register on the official website of Grant Government Medical College and Sir J. J Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. Further, they can download the application form along with other required forms to be filled up. Candidates need to fill, attest and scan the all the documents individually in PDF and send to college. Grant Medical College is a government University affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and it is ranked 21 by India Today in 2021. It is not a private University so, It is very Important to take the NEET Exam to get admission to the Grant Medical College. The availability of seats in the college lies between 250-260 every year. The merit for taking admission in the college for the General category usually falls between 720-640, and The merit for the SC/ST Category falls between 136-107. The merit list for OBC Category usually falls between 136-107. After, clearing the merit round students can apply for counseling to take admission to the college.

SPJIMR’s GMP application forms are currently open for January 2021 intake which has three Partner school in US and one Partner School in Europe. These forms need to be submitted via the links provided in the application portal of the institute. The form is quite detailed and will take some time to complete. It is inclusive of questions around candidates’ academic performance, work experience (if any), hobbies & interests and will include candidates’ preference for the partner schools. It is possible to select a maximum of three partner schools in the form and the interviews take place at SPJIMR Mumbai campus. The interviews are inclusive of two rounds; first, one conducted by SPJIMR is an elimination round. The second round is conducted by the individual partner schools as per students’ preferences. Each school will conduct its own separate interview and shortlisted candidates are informed via email.

A set of documents has to be submitted during the SOL DU admission. An application is treated as incomplete if the required documents are not attached to it. Further, the documents required during the process are:

• Duly filled application form
• Bank draft of the admission confirmation fee
• Two recent passport-size photographs (one for the application and another for the identity card)
• Self-attested photocopy of Class 10 and 12 passing certificates
• Transfer Certificate in original
• Self-attested photocopy of Reserve Category Certificate of the candidate (If any)
• Original Income Certificate (BPL Ration Card)
• Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card

NOTE: Candidates applying for UG courses have to submit Class 10 and Class 12 pass certificate. Applicants of PG courses must submit the UG degree mark sheets along with other documents.
