As per the overall placement report, some of the prominent companies that have visited IHM Mumbai in the past for placements include Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, The Oberoi Group, The Leela Palaces & Hotels, Domino’s, and Growisto. The eligibility criteria for the Distance / Correspondence BTech course may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for admission to Distance / Correspondence BTech colleges in Mumbai (All) are as follows. The candidates:
- Must have passed Class 12 with a minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects (the pass percentage may vary in different colleges).
- A candidate who has completed a Diploma from a recognised board/ university/ institute can also apply.

BSc at NMIMS School of Design is offered only one specialisation, i.e., Animation and VFX. Asmission to the BSc course is based on the valid score in the last qualifying exam. Further, candidates must apply for the course before the last registration date and appear for the online computer-based entrance exam. However, candidates must make sure to qualify for the BSc eligibility criteria as per the NMIMS School of Design course admission guidelines.

NMIMS School of Design entrance exam was condcute on 8 June, 2024. The entrance test will be conducted through online mode. The institute prepares the merit list based on performance of entrance test and aggregate marks obtained in class 12 or equivalent examination.

The NCHMCT JEE entrance exam is for a BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. To get admission to IHM Mumbai, the candidate needs to qualify for the entrance exam. As per the eligibility criteria of NCHMCT JEE, the candidate must have passed Class 12 with a 50% aggregate and English as a compulsory subject. So, Class 12 is required to pursue a degree for a BSc in HHA.
