The hostel fee for BTech at IIT Bombay can be broken down into two parts:

Hostel Charges per Semester: covers room rent and basic amenities. For the 2024 academic year, it's estimated to be around INR13,000 per semester.

Per Semester Mess Advance: advance payment for food expenses at the hostel mess. In 2024, it's estimated to be around INR22,500 per semester.
