NIT-Rourkela is one of the best branches. For general category candidates, to qualify for admissions to NIT, they should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam. For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th. It has the highest placement record which gives 100% placement to the students. The average salary for different science branches is around INR 5 to 8 LPA.
