Dear, The placement records for Food Process Engineering for the graduating batch of 2018 is pretty good, given the fact that we are just the second batch for this branch which is graduating. Well, throwing in some numbers:

People Opting to Sit for Placements: 20
Total Placed: 17
Total Job Offers: 20
Core Job Offers: 5

The admission will be organized by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kotak as VIT is affiliated to RTU. Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process is a state level admission procedure. Candidates are offered admission in the University and affiliated institutes on the basis of JEE Main/ NATA Scores. Admission is provided in B.E. / B.Tech/ B.Arch. Courses. The university does not conduct any entrance exam to provide admission. For more details regarding REAP 2020 important dates, application form, eligibility criteria, merit list or result etc. Candidates can go through VIT website.

I would suggest you to work on your technical skills and aptitude.Although there are some companies which mandatorily require the criteria of 60%.But there also few of the companies which judges you according to your performance in the tests conducted and interviews.So, all the best!
