Yes, Thapar University offers merit-based scholarships to students of MCA courses. The scholarship will be awarded in the first year of the course in the second semester. The scholarship will be given to the 10% of admitted strength. Thapar University MCA scholarship will be given on the basis of performance (CGPA obtained) in the first semester of the course. To be eligible for TIET scholarships, students should not have an CGPA of less than 8 and should not have any backlog in the year of consideration and must have passed all the courses offered in the semester (s) prior to the year of consideration.

Thapar University offers a two-year full-time MCA course at the postgraduate level. The total seat intake for TIET MCA course is 35 including 5 FN/ NRI seats.
