For Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Computer Engineering (International Program) cutoffs in 2019 were a bit lower than regular COE, but still competitive.
Rough idea (2019 trends):
Around 92–95 percentile (approx.) for General category
Could vary depending on round and seat availability
International programs usually had slightly relaxed cutoffs compared to core CSE/COE.
Exact numbers changed each round, but mid-90 percentile range was the safe zone 👍

With 96.8% in RBSE, you've got a strong chance 👍
At Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, scholarships are usually based on top board/JEE performers and are limited.
With your score, you can expect:
A merit-based scholarship (tuition fee waiver/partial)
Exact % (like 25%, 50% etc.) depends on your rank among admitted students that year
Top slabs usually go to the highest scorers, so the final amount depends on competition.
Best part — you're definitely in the range to be considered. Just apply early and keep your documents ready 👍

For LM Thapar School of Management, the online GD/PI is pretty straightforward — they're not trying to trick you, just understand how you think.
In GD (if conducted):
They'll see how you:
Express ideas clearly
Listen and build on others' points
Stay relevant (not just speak a lot)
In PI:
Focus is on:
Your basics (academics, work if any)
Why MBA + why Thapar
Clarity of goals
Communication and confidence
Online format also means they notice:
How clearly you speak
Your presence (eye contact, not reading off screen)
Simple tip: be genuine, structured, and calm. You don't need fancy answers — just clarity 👍

If JEE/NEET doesn't happen (or gets delayed), Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology usually adjusts its process instead of stopping admissions.
In such cases, they typically:
Rely more on 12th PCM (board) merit
Use JEE score later if/when results come
Continue counselling rounds (including 4th) based on available criteria + seat availability
They've done this in the past during disruptions — so admissions still go on, just with slightly modified rules.
Best move: keep checking official updates and stay in the counselling process 👍

Yes, you can 👍
At Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, a 2-year gap is generally not an issue for admission.
You'll just need to:
- Meet the usual eligibility (JEE/board criteria)
- Provide a gap affidavit/explanation if asked
As long as your documents are in order, the gap won't stop your admission.

Yes — with 98.33% in PCM, you're in a very strong position for Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology 👍
Through the board merit category, you should have:
- High chances for CSE / COE
- Almost certain chances for all other branches
Being from Rajasthan doesn't matter much here — your score is strong enough.
Just make sure you:
- Apply early
- Participate in counselling rounds properly
You're pretty much safe for top branches. Good score 👌

You've got solid options ,so let's keep it simple and real.
Top pick (overall):
👉 Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (Biotech) or Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (Mechanical)
IIT tag + exposure + long-term value is hard to beat.
If you're 100% sure about coding/tech:
👉 LNM Institute of Information Technology (CSE) is a very strong choice
👉 IIIT (like Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kancheepuram) also good, but check dual degree commitment
About Thapar:
👉 Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (CSE) is good, but in your case, your other options are stronger
Simple decision:
