In order to get admission in University of engineering, Osmania university first a candidate should write an exam called TS EAMCET. The result of TS EAMCET gives a rank which is a main criterion for getting admission in UCE.Then candidate should apply for councelling and pay fees of councelling.Then he/she will be given a time slot for certificate verification .After a successful verification he/she will be allowed to chose the respective branch.According to the rank list seats are allotted.The seats are blocked by paying tution fees.This is the procedure for B.E admission.

It is possible, yes. All you have to do is fill out the migration form, provide the DMCs (Detail Marks Cards) for the previous semesters that you passed at the university you are applying for, and request migration. The availability may depend on the number of open seats or the number of students who failed that particular batch's or stream's prior semester at Panjab University.

Although admission to BE/ BTech programme at TIET is conducted through JEE Main. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology accepts JEE Main scores as well as merit for admisison to the BE/ BTech courses. Based on the JEE Main score and Class 12 scores, candidates are then called for the TIET Counselling process.
