Pondicherry University has released the CUET PG 2023 merit list for several postgraduate courses. As per Pondicherry University's first merit list 2023, M.A. in Women's Studies was the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 116 for the General All India category student. Yes, there are 22 hostels present on the university campus. 14 are for boys and 8 for girls.  The rooms are on a sharing basis, with two to four students in one room. Hostel rooms have basic facilities, such as beds, chairs, and cupboards, and contain a dining hall, a library, a games room, and a laundry room for the residents.  Hostel accommodation is only on a first-come, first-served basis and is reserved for students coming from distant places, and for those who are pursuing certain courses, such as medicine and engineering, etc. 

While the cutoff for Pondicherry University can be considered competitive , it varies according to the course a candidate has choose, their category and the difficulty level of the entrance exam. Usually, undergraduate courses cutoff is lower than the cutoff for postgraduate courses as there are more seats to fill in the UG courses.
