The eligibility criteria for PG course is as follows-:

MBA-: A candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university in any discipline with 50% or more marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

MCA-: Candidates must have completed a full-time Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years, in B.C.A/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree or passed B.Sc./B.Com/B.A. with Mathematics at 10+ 2 level or at graduation level.

Candidates are selected for the MBA course at BIIB Pune on the basis of marks obtained in CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or MAH CET. However, as management examination test scores are issued to the students, any student who has appeared for the management examination test can apply for the courses.  Candidates who fulfill the qualitative requirements will be called for the Group Discussions by experts. This will be for a duration of 30-45 minutes per group. This may include role play, case studies, and extempore speech and GD. 35% of the weightage in the merit list will be given to the GD process. Followed by an interview, the expert panel interview and the essay marks will carry 30% of the weightage. This panel will assess the candidates on various parameters including the suitability of the candidate for a particular specialisation.
