No, candidates from Maharashtra can get admission in MBA at SPPU through MAH-CET. Candidates who are not from Maharashtra can get admission through scores in CMAT if they do not have valid score in CAT.
For admission in MBA (PBT) offered by PUMBA, admission is given based on score in ATMA.

According to Savitribai Phule Pune University’s Department of Management Studies (PUMBA), the highest and average package offered during UniPune MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 18.97 LPA and INR 8.85 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 167 offers were made and 104 companies visited the campus during SPPU MBA placements 2023. Both the universities are good. However, let us look at the facts related to both the universities. Talking about the Pune University it has been ranked 23 under the 'University' category by the NIRF in 2024. On the other hand, Mumbai University has been ranked 61 in the same category by the NIRF in 2024. Savitribai Phule Pune University is recognised by UGC, it is popularly known as the 'Oxford of the East'.

1. When starting don't need to carry extra items for your stay explore the first semester by yourself and understand if u need extra cloths or anything because sufficient is already provided.
2. The induction programme that a cadet is made to go through before joining the college should be followed properly because the rules and regulations are mentioned clearly.
3. Try to settle in talk to seniors and people around get comfortable with the environments and surrounding around.
