Symbiosis International University conducts Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design SEED in order to offer admissions to aspirants in B.Des programmes offered at Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). Earlier known as SET for Design, SEED conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for design course admissions evaluates candidates on spheres such as colour, geometry, visual observations, general design awareness, creative thinking abilities and awareness on Indian culture, craft, traditions and the likes. SEED conducted by SIU comprises of objective type questions.On the basis of an aspirant's performance in Symbiosis Institute of Design Test, he/she can secure admission in B.Des programmes offered in disciplines such as Graphic Design (GD), Video Film Design (VFD), Animation Film Design (AFD), User Experience Design (UED), Product Design (PD), Interior Space Design (ISD), Fashion Design (FD) and Fashion Communication (FC) offered at SID. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as listed by SID for admission in design programmes offered by it.

I would suggest you to look for the rate of return (ROI) for every university/institute. It's calculated as ROI = Package expected or avg. package divided by fees of the college. For e.g. - for BVIMR average package is 6 LPA and fees is 6 LPA. So ROI would be 1.For Amity average package is somewhere around 8 LPA and the fees is 12 LPA. So ROI would be 0.67. Choose a college which has the highest ROI. Among the institutes you have named, NMIMS and Symbiosis have very good ratings. The fees in NMIMS is around 19 lakhs for MBA. Choose a college for which you are confident that you can "earn back" its fees in 2-3 years. BVIMR and Amity stands same on ratings, with IPU lower than them.
