Hi,
To be honest, the scores aren't good enough for you to get into a decent college. With your work experience being not too much, you can still put in more efforts and try next year once again. By then you'd have even longer work experience and another chance at having better scores. Mechanical engineering is best suited for NITIE and IIT Mumbai. You can try for JB or even PUMBA for that matter if you want to stay in Pune.

If you have a relevant experience of 2.5 years along with good amount of knowledge and skills to crack GDs and PIs, you can end up in top 10% salary cap.
Depending on industry conditions and demand that salary cap could command anything between 9.5-12 lakhs easily. Everything else rests on your expectations. All the best.
