IIM Amritsar offers a five-year Integrated programme in Management or IPM leading to MBA. Students in the course get an option to exit the course in three-years with a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance and Economics degree. Students are shortlisted for IPM based on their IPMAT scores. Selected candidates have to further pass a personal interview round for admission.

IIT Ropar campus caters to the sports needs of students. It has a cricket ground, football ground, hockey ground, badminton court, basketball court, and tennis court for outdoor activities. Yes, IIT Ropar has eight hostels,  six for boys (Satlej, Beas, Sindhu, Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune) and two for girls (Ravi, Venus) to house approximately 3000 students. IIT Ropar is a residential institute; therefore, all the students are required to reside in the hostels. All the hostel rooms are spacious and have all the basic furniture, such as a study table, chair, cupboard, single bed, etc. The rooms are allocated on a single and double occupancy basis. IIT Ropar hostels consist of dedicated rooms for recreational activities, providing a holistic environment for the students.

For the General AI quota, the IIT Mandi CSE cutoff for 2025 ranged between 3087 and 3123. For IIT Patna, the cutoff range was between 3215 and 3377. Similarly, for IIT Ropar, the cutoff ranged from 2357 to 2512. Therefore, considering these ranges, the IIT Mandi cutoff for CSE was comparatively more competitive for admission among engineering aspirants compared to IIT Patna, while it was less competitive than IIT Ropar, which had a more stringent cutoff for CSE admission.
